Water-jet cut stencils

By using the water-jet cutter to cut 1mm steel stencils, normal paint stencilling techniques can be applied to scorch timber. This technique is similar to an ancient Japanese technique for patterning leather.

Using a “Bernzomatic” blow torch to scorch the plywood underneath the stencil.
